The old house

So, we have been in discussion with Chivas Duncan, our former project manager, to finally take down the old house.  The house had been in the King Hill family for along time.  He either built it from scratch or he used a former log house as the base.  We were considering having the fire department burn it down, but now that option looks like it is off the table.  Apparently there are way too many permits and governmental hoops to jump through.  Old Mr. Skunk has been living under the house for a very long time.  The house seems to be built on a very large rock.  In the last couple of spring storms the shed next to the house blew down, so it has become a big mess.  We want to use the area for "Art in the Holler" as either parking space or for more exhibition space.  Currently we have mapped out the field around the small barn/smoke house.  The pumpkin patch has been mowed down and the pumpkins are starting to grow, if we can get a little break from the rabbits and the neighborhood goats.  My mom and I are taking Zoe (3yrs) and Lily (2yrs) up to the farm tomorrow with the dogs.  Hope the pond is up, and the flowers are still pretty.  Living the Life of Riley...
